Nurse Assistant - Lynhales Hall

Rotherwood Healthcare are seeking people who will train to become Nurse Assistants. After induction and training/working alongside experienced qualified staff you will become a Nurse Assistant, Administering Medication and carrying out Clinical Duties in the way Qualified Nurses currently do. You will also learn to complete care plans and keep them up to date. We will also support with further CHAPS training. What do you need to participate in this very exciting opportunity? Well Rotherwood Healthcare are fully committed to developing this role throughout their Care Homes. You will be a senior HCA in a medium to large Residential Home administering medication and helping with care planning already but want a bigger challenge and higher status or you may hold a position giving similar experience. We will train you to become a Nurse Assistant with all the status and rewards that brings with it. You do need to be reliable and have a pleasant balanced nature to thrive at Rotherwood. Oh by the way we have a good time and laugh much more often with our residents than the average care home.

What You'll be Doing

There are a wide range of activities which you will undertake as a Nurse’s Assistant, most of which will involve you taking a lead role and assisting with care provision in accordance with the care users’ assessed needs. Monitoring, maintenance and analysis of all records relating to the residents’ health will be a significant part of this role and you will be expected to be vigilant and knowledgeable about the well-being of individuals within your care. As a team player, mentor and a role model you will ensure that all key workers fulfil their obligations and will support them to complete their tasks and associated paperwork in a suitable and timely manner. Admission, discharge and communication of key information will fall within your responsibility, as will the liaison with residents’ relatives and transferring important detail in a professional and confidential manner. Your role is absolutely key to the smooth running of the care home and the health, safety and happiness of those who live there.
