Laundry Assistant - St Georges Park
St George’s Park is a specialist Dementia Nursing Home located in a peaceful residential area of Telford. We provide expert nursing care for residents with complex care needs involving physical and mental health conditions. Are you someone who wants to make a real difference to the lives of others? We are actively seeking a Part-Time Laundry Assistant to join our Housekeeping Team working 30 hours per week between 8.30am-16:30pm (may differ depending on business needs) and you will have a shift pattern of 4 days on then 4 days off on a continuous rota. Weekends would be required every so often.
What You'll be Doing
As a Laundry Assistant at St George's Park Nursing Home, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a new standard in healthcare that enables us to deliver exceptional person-centered care and support for our residents. Ideally you will have previous experience of working within laundry or worked within a similar environment. You will be responsible for maintaining tidiness and organisation of the laundry department, ensuring all residents clothes, bedding, and towels are appropriately laundered, ironed, mended and returned to individual residents, which is why the role of a Laundry Assistant is so important.
