Roden Hall Care Home is located within 3 acres of grounds in the picturesque village of Roden in Shropshire, Roden Hall has been designed and built entirely with individual lifestyle needs in mind. As well as 68 beautifully appointed suites furnished to the highest specification, there is a theatre and cinema room, café, pub, library areas, and hair & nail salon in which residents can choose to socialise and spend their all-important leisure time. Dining too is a personalised experience, with enticing menus enjoyed in both formal and informal settings – even outdoors on the terrace. Dedicated Lifestyle Coordinators organise a wide range of activities for all tastes and abilities, and for those wishing to attend appointments or meet with friends in town, there’s also a chauffeur-driven Mercedes available to ensure arrival in style! Award-winning Rotherwood Healthcare is looking for you. We’re looking for a Customer Service Administrator who ideally has a passion to work in care and with the elderly. This is a full time role across Monday - Friday (37.5 hours per week from 09:00am until 5:00pm) Salary- £21,000 per annum As a Customer Service Administrator, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the home and be the main point of contact for the valued staff team and external stakeholders. ABOUT YOU You'll need to be personable, organised, and have strong written and verbal communication skills to join us as a Customer Service Administrator. Your excellent IT and time management abilities, along with being self-motivated and proactive will ensure that the delivery is second to none. Previous administrative experience, and experience working within a care home environment is essential. However, we'll make sure you have the training you need to develop your skills and progress your career with us. What You'll be Doing

- To answer the phone, deal with enquiries and show arounds - To keep an organised office, filing and archive system - Bed Stats – This involves accumulating previous days service user numbers and processing onto the spreadsheet to submit daily to head office. This will include listing 1:1 care and the breakdown of how service users are funded - Bed Stats Audit – Updating head office to any changes and extensions to service users funding - Admission Process – Completing service user contracts, new admission details and submitting these to head office. Completing Change of Circumstance forms to send to the relevant authorities - Rota – Assisting the Home Manager with the day to day changes, ensuring that we have the correct staffing levels for the following day - Submitting agency requests to head office for approval and updating head office of any changes. Cascading the relevant information back onto the rota to ensure that the staff are all aware - Agency Invoices – Cross checking invoices from agency providers with the rota and timesheets ensuring that all shifts have a PO - Petty Cash – Ensuring that robust record is kept of monies received and monies spent - Post – Take receipt of delivered post, sort accordingly, contact service users next of kin to inform them there is a letter to collect - Matron – Actioning all new enquiries, contacting prospective clients to discuss needs and arrange a viewing of the Home. Ensure all assigned tasks are completed in a timely manner. Overall monitoring on a regular basis - Typing up the weekly menu - Assist the home manager with the weights spreadsheets and the monthly Managers Monitoring submission - Keeping the fire evacuation records up to date - To abide by the rules and conditions of the Data Protections Act/GDPR and in view of the nature of the service confidentiality is paramount
