Enhancing Resident Wellbeing with NAPA Training for Lifestyle Teams

Rotherwood Healthcare, a leading care home provider across Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Shropshire, recently provided a comprehensive training programme for its Lifestyle Teams through the National Activity Providers Association (NAPA). This initiative underlines Rotherwood’s commitment to prioritising resident wellbeing through engaging activities.

NAPA, the leading activity and engagement charity in the UK, equips care services with the tools to foster wellbeing, promote engagement and elevate quality of life for older residents. The training covered wide-ranging topics, including understanding activity provision, delivery of activities, recognising the benefits of engaging activities in social care and Dementia awareness.

Cheryl Walne, the Regional Manager at Rotherwood Healthcare, shared her perspective:
“This supports our lifestyle teams to deliver on our mission of providing inspiring activities, enriching the lives of our residents while catering to their specific needs and preferences”.
