Colwall care home is situated in the picturesque village of Colwall, nestled on the western side of the Malvern Hills. Colwall is a purpose built luxury care home, offering state of the art facilities with stunning architectural features throughout. Opening in Summer 2024, Colwall will be home to 60 residents. We are currently seeking a dedicated individual who naturally shares our values, to join our home as a Housekeeper/Domestic Assistant. The Role: As a member of the housekeeping team, you will promote the quality of life and wellbeing of our residents by ensuring their home is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas. Ensuring that every room and living space is clean, tidy, and maintained to an exceptional level at all times. You will be a champion for hygiene and infection control within the home, creating a welcoming, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, as well as their friends and families. Key Responsibilities: • Follow and maintain cleaning schedules, outlining daily, weekly, and monthly tasks. • Ensure the standards of cleanliness are of a high standard including resident’s individual rooms, all fabric, furniture, carpets, and equipment. • Adhere to health & safety & COSHH regulations to ensure the safety of residents, visitors & staff. • Ensure any necessary documentation/records are completed and updated as required. • Report any maintenance, faulty equipment, furniture, or concerns to the Head Housekeeper. Previous care home experience would be an advantage but not essential as we will provide you with the knowledge and understanding if you have the people qualities and share our core values.
