Adhere to Health & Safety policies and procedures ensure the safety of residents, visitors, and work colleagues particularly COSHH and Safe Handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and the moving and handling of heavy equipment. Report any hazards to health and safety to residents and or staff, in communal areas, service areas and individual rooms (i.e., trailing wires, wet floors and broken equipment) Accidents to be reported as indicated in the Policies and Procedure Manual Any areas requiring maintenance will be reported, including blown light bulbs, scuffed wallpaper and paint and damaged furniture and equipment, and recorded into our Bespoke Matron System. To provide support to the laundry department when required and keep up to date on relevant laundry procedures. To dispose of waste in accordance with guidelines and policies and procedures. Report any buildings maintenance, faulty equipment, furniture, or concerns to the Home Manager immediately ensuring that these are then recorded into our Matron System.
