Health Care Assistant - Lynhales Hall Nursing Home

Rotherwood Healthcare - Lynhales Hall Nursing Home Lynhales Hall Nursing Home is set in seven acres of woodland close to the historic Herefordshire village of Lyonshall. Lynhales Hall Nursing Home is built around a stunning, two-storey 16th Century Manor House is home to up to 65 residents. The home includes the John Sperry Memorial Unit; a Complex Care facility offering exceptional Nursing Care for people with varying types and stages of Dementia and other mental health conditions. We are looking for carers who ideally have a passion to work in care and with patients who suffer from a wide variety of nursing needs. We are also looking for Dementia specialist for our state of the Art John Sperry Unit. Lynhales welcomes experienced and unexperienced Healthcare Assistants as full training will be provided. What You'll be Doing

The key responsibilities of our Healthcare Assistants include: - To assist residents in washing, dressing and undressing. - Assisting with using the toilet or emptying urinary catheter bags/changing incontinence pads - Assisting with eating/feeding - Utilising equipment to move residents when necessary - Helping tidy the residents room - Talking to residents and reassuring them - Assisting nurses and other staff when needed - Adhering to professional standards
