Hospitality Host/Hostess - Roden Hall

Rotherwood Healthcare - Roden Hall Care Home are actively seeking a Hospitality Host/Hostess to join our Hospitality team and look after our residents and guests at the home. If you're looking for a new challenge in your hospitality or care career, would like to use your skills in an environment where they'll make a big difference to older peoples everyday lives, are caring, compassionate, patient, and would like to bring a smile to residents and their visitors, then this may be the role for you. Hours: 32 hours per week from 08:00am-16:30pm 4 days per week. Must be flexible to work any day of the week, including alternate weekends. What You'll be Doing

-Clear and reset the dining room for lunch after breakfast service has been completed. Assisting any resident remaining in the dining room for breakfast with any requests they may have. Ensuring no resident feels in any way rushed or pressured to finish a meal. -Serve lunch and dinner, assisted by support workers, in the dining room. Plate up meals for residents who choose to eat in their rooms. - Ensure all required condiments are placed on the tray for support workers to take to the resident’s room’s if required .Return all trolleys to kitchen at the end of service. - Be available at all times to provide beverages and refreshments to residents and their guests. Offer beverages to all visitors to the home. - Ensure the Café, Pub and Restaurant are clean, tidy, and well stocked at all times. - To support residents to maintain independence by pouring their own drinks, and helping themselves wherever possible - To liaise with Lifestyle Co - Ordinator's regarding the schedule for the day and any planned refreshment needs. - To assist with functions when required. - To support the Lifestyle Team when required with planned activities relevant to job role. - Ensuring all feedback is sought and communicated effectively and efficiently to relevant Managers. - Contributing to menu generation based on feedback of the residents. - The hostess will ensure that all residents and visitors are greeted in a polite, friendly and professional manner.
