Registered Nurse - Hampton Grange

With responsibility for the delivery of care and for the supervision of others, the role of Registered Nurse is one which involves both the setting up, and continuation of, high standards in care. Registered Nurses have a key role to play in maintaining effective management of the home and of the staff within it, working closely with care assistants (including those performing night duties). This is a position with many responsibilities and the right candidate will want to be participate in, contribute to and bring their knowledge into, the many different aspects of care home operation

What You'll be Doing

In addition to providing a high standard of clinical Nursing, the Registered Nurse will have responsibilities directly related to home management, actively taking charge when required. The role involves the setting of Nursing standards, assessment of needs, development and evaluation of programmes of care and implementation of research-based care activities. Knowledge is key for this position and candidates will need to demonstrate an understanding of the Health & Social Care Act 2012, the NMC Professional Code of Conduct and the Home policy on the ordering, administration, custody, storage and control of drugs. Additional professional, administrative and personnel-related elements of this role mean that the person undertaking it will have multiple duties and will be involved across all areas of Home management and have a real desire to promote good practice and motivate staff.
