Lifestyle Co-Ordinator - Hampton/Gwen

We are currently seeking a dedicated individual who naturally shares our values, to join our homes management team as a Lifestyle Coordinator. The Role: As a member of the home management team, you will have the overall responsibility for ensuring the activities and resident stimulation within the home is relevant for each individual and that they are exciting and interesting to attract engagement. You will lead a small team and oversee the activities schedule, ensuring all activities and excursions encourage motivation, interaction and the wellbeing needs of our residents on a day-to-day basis. You will have a professional approach, be able to motivate and influence and be proactive in creating and arranging activities within an agreed budget. Key Responsibilities: · Structure an activity timetable designed around residents’ requirements, desires, and choices. · Organise social events, book performers, and liaise with colleagues to ensure successful events. · To be proactive in forward planning events such as national/festive celebrations. · Ensure the home can deliver specific activities by managing an effective rota for your team. · Monitor the activities budget, ensuring best value is achieved through research and planning. · Be a liaison within the local area and maintain a positive status in the community. · Accompany residents to external activities ensuring their support needs are met at all times. · Support the marketing team by capturing activities/events with photos and engaging content. About You: You will have previous experience of activities/lifestyle tasks within a care setting, with a good understanding of dementia and the positive impact of activities/stimulation. You will have the ability to manage a set budget and be creative with your resources. You will have a general passion for helping others with drive and enthusiasm and be able to build and sustain contacts and a local network to benefit the residents and the home.
