Laundry Assistant- Kington Court Nursing Home

Kington Court offers person-centred care to meet the lifestyle needs of up to 48 older ladies and gentlemen. Nestled in the heart of Kington, the home is perfectly located to provide Residential and Nursing Care for those across North Herefordshire. We are actively seeking a Part-Time Laundry Assistant to join our Housekeeping Team working up to 30 hours per week / 4 days per week between 08:30am and 16:30pm. You will be on a rolling rota of 4 days on, 4 days off so weekends would be required as and when they fall on your rota. What You'll be Doing

As a Laundry Assistant at Kington Court Nursing Home, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a new standard in healthcare that enables us to deliver exceptional person-centered care and support for our residents. Ideally you will have previous experience of working within a laundry department or worked within a similar environment. The Laundry Assistants role is very important within the home. Duties include: - Keeping the Laundry room tidy, organised, and cleaned - Ensuring all residents clothes, bedding, and towels are appropriately washed, dried, ironed, mended if required, labelled, and returned to the residents - Wardrobes to be kept tidy and organised - Ensure detergent is stocked up
