St George’s Park is a specialist Dementia Nursing Home located in a peaceful residential area of Telford. St George's Park Nursing Home provides exceptional residential and nursing care to 70 residents. Are you someone who wants to make a real difference to the lives of others? Award-winning Rotherwood Healthcare is looking for you. We are looking for Health Care Assistants who ideally have a passion to work in care and with patients who suffer from dementia. St George's Park welcomes both experienced and unexperienced Healthcare Assistants as full training will be provided. The roles we have available are for days or nights on a bank contract from 07:00am until 19:00pm or 19:00pm until 07:00am. Pay- £11.59 per hour As a Healthcare Assistant at St George's Park Nursing Home, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a new standard in healthcare that enables us to deliver exceptional person-centered care and support for our residents. What You'll be Doing
The key responsibilities of our Healthcare Assistants include: - To assist residents in washing, dressing and undressing. - Assisting with using the toilet or emptying urinary catheter bags/changing incontinence pads - Assisting with eating/feeding - Utilising equipment to move residents when necessary - Helping tidy the residents room - Talking to residents and reassuring them - Assisting nurses and other staff when needed - Adhering to professional standards
