Food Standards Agency Rate Kington Court with Five Stars

Kington Court Nursing Home, located in Kington, is proud to announce that it has received a 5-Star Food Hygiene Rating from the Food Standard's Agency. This achievement follows an unannounced inspection conducted by the Herefordshire Environmental Health Department in May.

The Food Hygiene Rating Scheme is a legally mandated initiative designed to ensure that businesses involved in the supply, sale, or consumption of food adhere to food hygiene laws. During the inspection, a Food Safety Officer thoroughly examined the handling, storage, and preparation of food within the nursing home, as well as the overall cleanliness and safety of its facilities. To attain the highest rating of 5 stars, businesses must demonstrate compliance with all elements of the scheme.

Jo Fennell, the Provider Auditor at Kington Court Nursing Home, expressed great satisfaction with the accomplishment. She commented:
"We are absolutely delighted for Head Chef, Jerwin Manalac, and his team on receiving this exceptional rating. Their unwavering dedication to providing enticing dining experiences for our residents has been truly commendable."
