Hampton Grange and Gwen Walford Retain Five-Star Food Hygiene Rating
Hampton Grange and Gwen Walford Nursing Homes in Hereford announce their continued possession of a 5-star food hygiene rating from the Food Standard’s Agency. This achievement comes after a rigorous unannounced inspection conducted by the Herefordshire Environmental Health Department on 20th June.
The Food Hygiene Rating Scheme is a legally mandated initiative designed to ensure that businesses involved in the supply, sale, or consumption of food adhere to food hygiene laws. During the inspection, a Food Safety Officer thoroughly examined the handling, storage, and preparation of food within the nursing home, as well as the overall cleanliness and safety of its facilities. To attain the highest rating of 5 stars, businesses must demonstrate compliance with all elements of the scheme.
