Home Manager Puts on her Walking Boots for Dementia UK
Louise, Home Manager of Hampton Grange and Gwen Walford, has been getting ready to take part in an event to fundraise for a cause very close to our hearts...
She will be putting on her walking boots in support of Dementia UK and aims to walk an amazing 100km throughout the month of March. She will, of course, be receiving lots of encouragement and support from the very proud residents at Hampton and Gwen, as well as from her colleagues and the extended Rotherwood family.
Lousie's Cockerpoo, Teddy, will be at her side as she tackles this ambitious target for a great charity that helps so many people affected by Dementia.
The challenge will see Louise walking close to 4km per day – even in the pouring rain and cold temperatures. Her fundraising target was £150 but, with donations coming in thick and fast, we are certain that she will smash that total. Watch this space for more updates!
