Roden Hall retains 5-Star Food Hygiene Rating
Roden Hall Care Home in Shrewsbury is delighted to announce that it has successfully retained its exceptional 5-star Food Hygiene Rating from the Food Standards Agency. Following an unannounced inspection conducted on 18th July by Telford and Wrekin Environmental Health, the care home has proved its adherence to stringent food hygiene laws.
The Food Hygiene Rating Scheme is a legal framework ensuring that businesses that are engaged in the supply, sale or consumption of food maintain exceptional food hygiene practices. During the inspection, a Food Safety Officer meticulously assessed the handing, storage, and preparation of food within the care home, along with the overall cleanliness and safety of its facilities. Receiving the highest rating of 5 stars signifies Roden Hall’s compliance with all facets of the scheme.
Rebecca Jones, the Roden Hall Home Manager, expressed immense satisfaction, commenting:
“The kitchen staff did an amazing job to retain 5 stars and we’re incredibly proud. This recent recognition shows our care home’s continued commitment to upholding the highest standards of food hygiene and safety.”
