The Care Quality Commission Rate Lynhales Hall Nursing Home as ‘Good’

Rotherwood Healthcare has announced that Lynhales Hall Nursing Home in Lyonshall, Herefordshire, has achieved an overall rating of ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission, following an unannounced focussed inspection conducted on 6th June.

Rated ‘good’ across all five key lines of enquiry: ‘safe’, ‘effective’, ‘caring’, ‘responsive’ and ‘well-led’, this positions Lynhales Hall has one of the highest-rated care homes in the region and stands testimony to the dedicated care team led by the Home Manager, Nick Brown. At the time of inspection, the home was delivering care to 55 residents, many of whom live with various forms of Dementia and complex needs. 
 
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) are the independent regulator of health and adult social care in the UK, ensuring that fundamental standards of quality and safety are upheld. Following a full inspection, a report is published outlining any good practice or areas of concern, providing ratings on the quality of service. 
 
Vicky Craddock, the Chief Operating Officer at Rotherwood Healthcare praised the team at Lynhales Hall, stating:
