Two Finalist Places for Rotherwood Healthcare at the Caring UK Awards

It’s a double celebration for Rotherwood Healthcare, with the group named a finalist for Care Group of the Year at the 2026 Caring UK Awards, while the team at Lynhales Hall has also been shortlisted for Dementia Care Team of the Year.

The double finalist recognition celebrates the dedication of teams across Rotherwood and the difference they make to residents every day.

Across Rotherwood, 51% of team members have worked with the group for more than three years, while 25 have been with Rotherwood for over a decade, helping provide residents with familiar faces and trusted relationships.

This commitment to continuity sits alongside ongoing investment in training, wellbeing, personalised care and the environments residents call home. Five of Rotherwood’s eight homes have also achieved Top 20 status in the West Midlands, based on feedback from residents and their families.

At Lynhales Hall, the team’s work supporting residents living with dementia has also delivered measurable results. The Sleep Gap programme contributed to an 88% reduction in overnight falls and a 60% reduction overall, alongside improvements in sleep and independence.

Sharen Guise, Chief Operating Officer at Rotherwood Healthcare, said:
“This is a wonderful recognition of the people who make Rotherwood what it is. Behind every achievement are people who give their time, energy and care every day to make a difference to our residents. We’re incredibly proud of our teams and everything they continue to achieve.”

Anne-Marie Duggan, Home Manager at Lynhales Hall, said:
“I’m incredibly proud of the team and what they achieve for our residents every single day. There are so many small moments that make a difference — a familiar face, a shared memory, a conversation or simply knowing when someone needs a little extra support. To have the dedication behind those moments recognised in this way means a great deal to all of us at Lynhales.”

The winners will be announced at the Caring UK Awards at Athena in Leicester on Thursday 3rd December 2026.

We’re incredibly proud of both teams and wish them the very best of luck!
