Lifestyle Co-Ordinator- Kington Court Nursing Home

Kington Court offers person-centred care to meet the lifestyle needs of up to 48 older ladies and gentlemen. Nestled in the heart of Kington, the home is perfectly located to provide Residential and Nursing Care for those across North Herefordshire. Hours: 40 hours per week / 5 days per week plus a 30-minute unpaid break each day. The role is across 7 days with a varied shift pattern to suit the home, season, and activities. The earliest start time could be 9:00am and the latest finish time will be 7.00pm. Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum Home: Kington Court Nursing Home About You: You'll need to be warm, empathetic, and personable to join us as a Lifestyle Coordinator. Your organisational skills and ability to build rapport to positively influence others and communicate effectively will promote social engagement and independence. Your infectious enthusiasm and creative approach will inspire our residents and staff to get involved in activities both within the home and in the local community. You have knowledge and experience in using email & Microsoft programmes. You can operate an Apple/Android phone to capture good pictures and images. Any similar experience would be ideal, but it isn't essential - especially because we'll make sure you have the training you need to develop your skills and progress your career with us. What You'll be Doing

As a Lifestyle Coordinator at a Kington Court Nursing Home, you'll help to create a stimulating environment that enables us to deliver exceptional person-centered care and support for our residents. We strive to provide inspiring activities, which create a positive, uplifting, and imaginative culture, which can be felt throughout the home. Your role will play a key part in devising this 7-day a week lifestyle programme, injecting fun, smiles, and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability. Part of your time as a Lifestyle Coordinator will be spent getting to know our residents and their families before you create this tailored programme focused on meaningful activities to fulfil residents’ lives, in the way they wish. You will encourage involvement in the local community, you will plan, organise and accompany our residents on external outings when we are able to as well as bring to local community into the home.
