Staffing Administrator Roden Hall Care Home is located within 3 acres of grounds in the picturesque village of Roden in Shropshire, Roden Hall has been designed and built entirely with individual lifestyle needs in mind. As well as 68 beautifully appointed suites furnished to the highest specification, there is a theatre and cinema room, café, pub, library areas, and hair & nail salon in which residents can choose to socialise and spend their all-important leisure time. What You'll be Doing
As the Staffing Administrator, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the home and be the main point of contact for the valued staff team and external stakeholders. Duties will include: - Screening calls, taking messages, and answering incoming calls - Daily updating the payroll tracker providing correct and accurate information taken from staff timesheets and agency usage. Sending through in a timely manner to head office to process in the first instance. Cross referencing of this task is also imperative, but you will receive full training. - Updating and assigning staff training and keeping the Training Matrix up to date. Highlighting any issues to the lead administrator and/or Home Manager. - Assisting in various aspects of the recruitment process this will include preparing relevant documentation to begin the DBS process for new starters. - Creating Staff files for all new starters. Keeping all existing staff files up to date. Ensuring that the staff file indices are all complete and in place, issuing out any missing documents. Issuing contracts of employment for new starters in a timely manner. - Keeping the staff on duty board up to date, this will involve taking the initial photographs. - Keeping an up to date record of all employee contact details. - Ordering of staff uniforms and raising Purchase Requests and submitting to head office. - Recording, balancing, and keeping robust records of service users Personal Allowances - Purchase Invoices – Collecting data from purchase invoices and inputting onto a spreadsheet. This is a weekly task and must be completed in a timely manner as the information must be sent to head office. - Procurement – This will involve ordering of food items, housekeeping items, stationary etc. - To abide by the rules and conditions of the Data Protections Act/GDPR and in view of the nature of the service confidentiality is paramount - General office administration
