Laundry Assistant- Hampton Grange Nursing Home

Hampton Grange Nursing Home in Hereford offers full-time convalescent, Nursing and Palliative care to residents with Dementia or a Dementia-related illness of up to 42 residents. As a Laundry Assistant at Hampton Grange Nursing Home, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a new standard in healthcare that enables us to deliver exceptional person-centered care and support for our residents. The role we have available is for 30 hours per week / 4 days per week. What You'll be Doing

About the role: As a Laundry Assistant at Hampton Grange Nursing Home, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a new standard in healthcare that enables us to deliver exceptional person-centered care and support for our residents. Ideally you will have previous experience of working within a laundry department or worked within a similar environment. The Laundry Assistants role is very important within the home. Duties: Keeping the Laundry room tidy, organised, and cleaned Ensuring all residents clothes, bedding, and towels are appropriately washed, dried, ironed, mended if required, labelled, and returned to the residents Wardrobes to be kept tidy and organised Ensure detergent is stocked up
