Registered Nurse - Kington Court

Kington Court Care Home, located in Kington, Herefordshire are seeking a highly skilled Senior Nurse to lead the delivery of excellent care at Kington Court. You’ll report directly to the Registered Manager and your key responsibilities will include: Monitoring standards of care delivered to our residents Ensuring all Day/Night staff on your shift contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the Home Ensuring resident needs are being met by interacting with them, resolving any problems where appropriate Reporting any ill-health amongst residents and making requests for GP/Professional visits when needed Preparing, updating and evaluating Resident Care Plans General Nursing work and personal care as appropriate Administering prescribed medication and maintaining the necessary records as per Company guidelines Supporting Registered Manager with auditing Care Plan documentation to ensure best practice Attend relevant staff meetings Advising the Registered Manager of any incidents/accidents Ensuring there is a clear and concise handover at every shift Complete supervisions and appraisals to ensure best practice is adhered to Assist the Registered Manager with the responses to Provider audits in a timely manner Award Winning We're proud to confirm that Rotherwood Healthcare/Group has won: • Top 20 Care Home Group at the Top 20 Awards 2021 with carehome.co.uk • Best for Training and Development at The Care Home Awards 2022 • Employer of the Year at the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Awards 2022 • Business of the Year at the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Awards 2022 • Highly Commended for Best for Use of Technology at the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Awards 2022 For a full Job Description and Application Form please contact Tim Ward 07852 987495.
