Group IT & Systems Control Manager

Multi-site role | Reporting to CFO | £50–60k We are seeking a commercially minded IT & Systems Control Manager to oversee and professionalise our outsourced IT provision across a growing care group. This is not a helpdesk role. It is a control-focused position responsible for ensuring operational stability, strengthening cyber resilience, protecting system access controls, and delivering licence cost discipline. You will act as the intelligent client to our outsourced IT provider, holding them accountable to SLA standards and identifying recurring system weaknesses before they become operational disruptions. You will also oversee user access governance across platforms including Microsoft 365 and our VOIP phone system. The role includes structured monthly site visits to conduct IT health checks and ensure infrastructure stability across homes. We are looking for someone who: · Has experience managing outsourced IT suppliers. · Understands Microsoft 365 and user access governance. · Has worked with finance systems and understands segregation of duties. · Can interpret vulnerability reports and manage cyber remediation. · Is commercially aware and comfortable identifying cost savings. · Is confident, structured and able to challenge where required. You will report to the CFO and play a key role in strengthening operational discipline and cyber resilience as the organisation continues to grow. This is an opportunity to shape and control a multi-site IT environment without being a day-to-day helpdesk technician. Salary: £50,000–£60,000 depending on experience. Multi-site role with travel required.
