Rotherwood Healthcare - Lynhales Hall Nursing Home Lynhales Hall Nursing Home is set in seven acres of woodland close to the historic Herefordshire village of Lyonshall. Lynhales Hall Nursing Home is built around a stunning, two-storey 16th Century Manor House is home to up to 65 residents. The home includes the John Sperry Memorial Unit; a Complex Care facility offering exceptional Nursing Care for people with varying types and stages of Dementia and other mental health conditions. We are looking for carers who ideally have a passion to work in care and with patients who suffer from a wide variety of nursing needs. We are also looking for Dementia specialist for our state of the Art John Sperry Unit. Lynhales welcomes experienced and unexperienced Healthcare Assistants as full training will be provided. Rotherwood Healthcare are seeking people who will train to become Nurse Assistants. After induction and training/working alongside experienced qualified staff you will become a Nurse Assistant, Administering Medication and carrying out Clinical Duties in the way Qualified Nurses currently do. You will also learn to complete care plans and keep them up to date. We will also support with further CHAPS training. What do you need to participate in this very exciting opportunity? Well Rotherwood Healthcare are fully committed to developing this role throughout their Care Homes. You will be a senior HCA in a medium to large Residential Home administering medication and helping with care planning already but want a bigger challenge and higher status or you may hold a position giving similar experience. We will train you to become a Nurse Assistant with all the status and rewards that brings with it. You do need to be reliable and have a pleasant balanced nature to thrive at Rotherwood. Oh by the way we have a good time and laugh much more often with our residents than the average care home.

bout the role: As a Domestic at Lynhales Hall Nursing Home, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a new standard in healthcare that enables us to deliver exceptional person-centered care and support for our residents. Keeping the home clean, hygienic, and safe, particularly in the fight against coronavirus, is no small task, which is why the role of a Domestic is so important. The variety of housekeeping and cleaning tasks you carry out will ensure everyone can enjoy clean, tidy and welcoming surroundings. This means you’ll have a direct impact on our residents, their visitors and all the staff working to support them. Main Responsibilities: Carry out all cleaning duties as directed by the Head Housekeeper to the required Company standards. Cleaning duties can be in any area of the nursing home. Ensure that daily and deep cleaning schedules are adhered to. Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and hygiene. Ensure that all cleaning equipment is correctly and safely used and kept in a safe condition. Report any defect to the Home Manager. Carry out any other reasonable instructions of the Home Manager. To be sensitive to the privacy and individual needs of the residents. To comply with COSHH regulations. To adhere to infection control polices at all times. To ensure the correct use of PPE. To follow the correct use of colour code systems within the home Carry out other ad hoc duties as requested by the Head Housekeeper or Home Manager. To ensure all necessary documentation is completed daily. To ensure trolleys are re-stocked at the end of shift and cleaning cupboards are left clean and tidy.
