Lifestyle Co Ordinator - Colwall

Purpose As a member of the home management team, you will Lead, Manage and be Accountable for the lifestyle team. You will have the overall responsibility for ensuring the activities and resident stimulation within the home is relevant for each individual and that they are exciting and interesting to attract engagement. You will lead a small team and oversee the activities schedule, ensuring all activities and excursions encourage motivation, interaction and the wellbeing needs of our residents on a day-to-day basis. You will have a professional approach, be able to motivate and influence and be proactive in creating and arranging activities within an agreed budget. You will be responsible for managing the activity calendar, leading activities, activity budgets & rotas, community engagement, news stories, and record keeping. Purpose To provide an effective and efficient staff administration support function within the home, supporting and working closely alongside the Home Manager to achieve streamlined admin processes and procedures. Representing the home and Company to individuals during the recruitment/interview/onboarding process, promoting a pleasant, caring and kind environment. Liaise and build relationships with all team members and ensure all necessary documentation and administrative procedures are adhered to during the full employee life cycle. You will be responsible for staff reporting, staff induction, post & deliveries, petty cash, incoming calls/communication and administration duties. We are currently seeking a dedicated individual who naturally shares our values, to join our home management team as a Customer Administrator. The Role: You will provide an effective and efficient customer administration support function within the home, working closely alongside the Home Manager to support with increasing occupancy and achieving effective resident admin processes and procedures. Representing the home and Company to potential residents and relatives during the initial enquiry process, conducting home/room tours, promoting a pleasant, caring and kind environment to live. Key Responsibilities: Manage the occupancy statistics and submit daily reports to the Home Support Centre. Action all enquiries, discuss level of care needs, and arrange a visit/tour of the home. Following all successful home visits, ensure an assessment is completed in a timely manner. Meet all new residents on move-in day, ensuring the experience is positive, friendly, and calm. Issue contracts ensuring funding details are obtained and payment instructions are set up. Keep resident files up to date with relevant and current contact details. Market the home, highlight good new stories in collaboration with the Lifestyle Coordinator. Participate in weekly occupancy calls to ensure enquiries are followed up and tasks completed. Ensure all new residents records are set up accurately and update any residents who leave our care, making sure the Home Support Centre is updated for invoicing purposes. We are currently seeking a dedicated individual who naturally shares our values, to join our home as a Nurse. The Role: As the Nurse in charge, you will be responsible for the delivery of all clinical elements of the care provision, supervising others and setting/maintaining clinical standards within the home. Working under the guidance and direction of the Clinical Lead, you will have a strong clinical focus, playing an active role in ensuring that the medication/nursing needs of each resident are delivered effectively. Supporting the home with the expected clinical/nursing standards, promoting a high level of individualised care, ensuring all statutory and regulatory standards are maintained. Shift times are predominantly 07.00 – 19.00 (days) or 19.00 – 07.00 (nights). Key Responsibilities: • Monitor standards of care, ensuring all staff on your shift contribute to the best of their ability. • Ensure resident needs are being met by interaction and observation on each shift. • Organise and facilitate GP visits as required and implement advice/guidance provided. • Prepare, review and update resident care plans to ensure they are accurate and fit for purpose. • Administer and manage resident medication and ensure accurate records are maintained. • Report and incidents/accidents, areas of concern to the Home Manager & Clinical Lead. • Ensure a clear & concise handover, highlighting priorities for the day/night ahead. • Provide ongoing clinical support to ensure the team on your shift have the necessary skills & knowledge to provide the resident with an exceptional level of care.
