Purpose As a member of the home management team, you will Lead, Manage and be Accountable for the kitchen team to achieve and maintain an exceptional dining experience for our residents. You will be responsible for the dining experience, record keeping & compliance, menu creation, budget control and rota. Essential: Committed, Caring, Polite, Kind, Respectful, Passionate & Compassionate. Ability to Lead, Manage and be Accountable for a designated team (LMA). Previous management experience within a catering environment. Proven competency in nutritionally balanced menu planning. Ability to cater for specific dietary needs. Knowledge of HACCP, COSHH and health & safety protocols. Knowledge & understanding of IDDSI Modified Food requirements. Able to manage a set budget and purchase resources in line with stock requirements. Excellent oral and written communication skills. A good level of IT skills, competent in MS packages and the internet. Personable, professional and an approachable manner. The Role: As a member of the home management team, you will ensure the delivery of exceptional care to the residents within your designated home. Providing a strong quality focused function, supporting the Home Manager, you will play an active role in maintaining audit schedules as well as promoting a high level of individualised care, ensuring all statutory and regulatory standards are achieved and maintained. Key Responsibilities: Create person-centred care plans for new admissions, following a comprehensive assessment. Complete capacity assessments & best interest decisions with relatives/external professionals. Review and maintain care plans, ensuring they are updated and amended where applicable. Carry out care plan audits and implement improvement plans where required. Create and deliver care plan training and provide ongoing guidance to the care teams. The Role: As the Nurse in charge, you will be responsible for the delivery of all clinical elements of the care provision, supervising others and setting/maintaining clinical standards within the home.
