The Role: You will work under the guidance and direction of the person in charge, delivering a quality care service for the residents in our home, providing individualised, person-centred care in a happy, homely environment. You will have a deep understanding and respect for the dignity of each resident, promoting their health and well-being at all times. Shift times are predominantly 07.00 – 19.00 (days) or 19.00 – 07.00 (nights). Key Responsibilities: • Assist residents with washing, toileting, dressing/undressing, and all aspects of personal care. • Support residents who have limited mobility, using the necessary equipment provided. • Ensure a positive mealtime experience and assist with eating/drinking with dignity & kindness. • Provide encouragement and motivation to ensure day to day resident health and well-being. • Respond to call bells in a timely & professional manner and provide the required assistance. • Maintain accurate records of the care provided and document/report any evident changes. • Follow handover instructions, supporting the person in charge to ensure an efficient shift.
