The roles we have available are for days or nights on a bank contract from 07:00am until 19:00pm or 19:00pm until 07:00am. Rate of pay- £10.57 per hour

Registered Nurse - Hampton Grange

With responsibility for the delivery of care and for the supervision of others, the role of Registered Nurse is one which involves both the setting up, and continuation of, high standards in care. Registered Nurses have a key role to play in maintaining effective management of the home and of the staff within it, working closely with care assistants (including those performing night duties). This is a position with many responsibilities and the right candidate will want to be participate in, contribute to and bring their knowledge into, the many different aspects of care home operation

Head Chef - Hampton Grange/Gwen Walford

Reporting to the Registered Manager, the person who fills this role will be responsible for the preparation of breakfast, lunch, suppers and snacks (dependent on shift worked). As well as the preparation of meals, the Chef/ Cook will be expected to liaise with the Registered Manager to put together a monthly menu which will fulfil the nutritional needs and dietary preferences of the individual residents.

The Role: As the Registered Manager of both Rotherwood care homes, you will lead, manage and be accountable for your eight-seat management team. You will oversee the day to day operations within your designated home, providing support and leadership to your team. You will work closely with the Regional Manager and Chief Operating Officer to deliver business performance and quality targets. You will have a strong focus on the care, compliance, and high quality service, ensuring the safe working practices of your staff and the quality care delivery for your residents. Key Responsibilities: · Ultimately responsible for the effective, safe, and appropriate care delivery for each resident and for ensuring the home supports individuality and promotes quality and safety at all times. · Ensure home enquiries are followed up in a timely manner and the home visit process runs smoothly and effectively, followed by an assessment when applicable. · Effectively manage relationships with residents, relatives, third party professionals and individuals within the local community. · Fully assist with CQC, LA, EHO inspections and ensure any required actions are planned effectively and executed as required and in accordance with any regularity requirements. · Day to day staff management, e.g., completing probation, supervision, appraisals, return to work meetings. Effectively manage annual leave, training requirements, sickness absence, and ensure recruitment activity/interviews are prioritised for vacancies within your home. · Assess and maintain the correct number of staff based on occupancy by having clear visibility and understanding your care needs versus staff ratio. · Maintain control of the budgetary spend within the home through regular monitoring, ensuring the home remains financially sound. Kitchen Assistant - Hampton Grange

Rotherwood Health - Hampton Grange/Gwen Walford We are actively looking for a Full time Kitchen Assistant to work across both homes. The full time role will be working 40 hours per week across seven days (7am-7pm). You will work 4 days and then have 4 rest days on a continuous rota. Help prepare, cook and serve high quality meals centered on residents preferences. Taking into account any special dietary and allergen requirements. To be active and engaging, provide technical advice and guidance on food related matters; ensuring a positive and supportive working environment for the team. To understand and comply with all statutory and legal requirements, including Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points (HACCP), Health & Safety, Manual Handling, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH), Food Safety and Food Hygiene, have a clear understanding of Infection Prevention and Control policies, procedures and measures to maintain a safe environment throughout the home. Monitor and maintain kitchen cleaning schedules ensuring that all areas of the kitchen are immaculately clean; including the washing up of crockery and utensils when required. Ensure sufficient food stocks are ordered, received and controlled through Rotherwood Healthcare approved suppliers and that effective stock management is maintained, including the completion of monthly stock takes to reduce food wastage to a minimum. Responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of all kitchen equipment, ensuring any damage or faults are reported to the Home Manager and follow up action is initiated. To be an active member of Hampton Grange/Gwen Walford, contribute to team meetings, and assist the Head Chef & Home Manager with the on-going development of catering staff. Attendance at resident and relative meetings to gather feedback on food quality satisfaction. Taking into account any special dietary and allergen requirements. Previous experience of working in a similar environment is desirable
